Campus Hosts CSU Student Research Competition
More than 200 students from across the state will come to campus Friday and Saturday to participate in the 27th CSU Student Research Competition.
The competition, which will be held at the Bronco Student Center, showcases excellence in scholarly research and creative activity by undergraduate and graduate students in the full range of academic programs.
Students will give oral presentations before juries of professional experts from major corporations, foundations, public agencies, and colleges and universities in California. The top two presenters in the undergraduate and graduate divisions of each category can win cash awards. Each of the CSU campuses can make up to 10 presentations.
The Cal Poly Pomona delegation was selected at the inaugural CPP Student Research Conference in March. Judges heard 142 student presentations, of which 106 were from undergraduates and 36 from graduate students.
