Background
Cal Poly Pomona has a rich history, starting in 1938 when it opened as the Voorhis Unit of the California Polytechnic School, with an all-male enrollment of 110 students studying agriculture. Today's campus, with eight colleges and more than 21,000 students, provides graduates with the cutting-edge skills to needed to succeed in the workplace. But we have not forgotten where we came from.
