The Department of Theatre & New Dance will celebrate its 50th anniversary this Saturday, May 18. The department will host an alumni reception, followed by a performance of �Welcome Home Jenny Sutter� in the University Theatre at 8 p.m., which is open to the entire campus community.

The department is honoring 50 years of performances and alumni who have gone on to become stage, film and television actors; lighting designers; stage hands; producers; teachers and more.

�We�ve had a lot of students go on to work professionally, a lot of our alumni have worked on Broadway or in the film industry,� says theatre Professor Linda Bisesti. �We want to celebrate the students, past, present, and future.�
